Expensive repairs and charms
Thursday Night Fight
Why? Sage is a Chi maker with Bestial Rage, Master Li’s
Technique and swapping Human/Tiger form. Chi is good for
Invoke or for Celestial Eruption that purify negative
status, heal and reduce damage taken. Tiger/Panda form
add more Health Point and with Shapeshift Intensity
grants more Physical Defense.
Use 300 points in
Strength and 60 in Dexterity to be able to equip your
weapon. Vitality is the most important value for a Tank
because add Health Point and both Physical and Magic
Nobody forbids to have more weapons and swap on a
different tools depend of the moment. Except for Purify
Spell, other attributes of Dragonbreath Weapon has a
cooldown of 30 seconds, so when an effect trigger, it is
possible to change weapon and use other effect while the
1st is recharging.
A pure Tank doesn’t need a
powerfull weapon, but better to look for Defense Level
or any kind of attribute that can help to reduce the
damage taken. Some of most common weapons are:
- Dominator’s Maul (Rank 8 2nd cast): easy to make
and give a good amount of defense level as main
attribute(around 20-25 defense level), plus some other
usefull attributes like magic resistance or reduce
damage taken(depend on luck). Can be upgraded to 3rd
cast for additional defense level
- Dragonbreath Weapon (Grade 17): 80 defense
level plus a nice attribute at 5th cast is the top, but
it is very expensive at the moment. From 3rd cast it is possible to access to some
interesting tools like Purify Spell, Windtrail Shadow (immune to damage) and Dimlight Figure (untargetable).
Awakened Lionheart (Nirvana Grade 16) is good enough to
have fun with a Pure Tank build. The high amount of
Health Points and Defense cover the “handicap” to not
have Hegemony (Rank 9). If you have Rank 9 is better,
and in that case it is possible to use Heaven Ravager
Robe and Helm, with nice defensive attributes, without
lose the set bonus.
In order to get the best defense, I suggest to upgrade
Rank 9 ring and belt to 4th cast, to gain additional 10
defense level from set bonus and be able to refine the
belt. (Not possible with Rank 9 3rd cast belt)
Use rings that increases both magic/physical defense
when refined or if not possible atleast one Magic ring.
Magic necklace also.
Refine, Engrave and
Starting to the point that Vitality is our main
attribute, there are two different “customizations”: who
prefer HP and who prefer defense level; both are a good
way to go.
- Full Vitality:
refine armor to +12 at first, imbue it with gems that
add vitality (Primeval Stone for example) and look for
vitality attribute with engrave.
- Full Defense: refine ornaments to +12 at first,
use gems that add defense level on armor (Jade of Steady
Defense for example) and look for magic resistance
attribute when possible with engrave.
Do not mix
vitality and defense level build!
On necklace and
belt it is possible to choose between:
- Bloody Stone
- Sovereign Stone (Defense Level)
Magic Resistance, Physical Resistance, Spirit
HP, Elemental Resistance (Metal, Wood, etc)
I suggest to use a
full Vitality/Magic genie to have the chance to use more
skills at time and charge energy faster. Check section "Genie
